Se dan a conocer las nominaciones de los Gotham Awards 2026

El Gotham Film & Media Institute dio a conocer a los nominados de la 36ª edición de los Gotham Awards, uno de los reconocimientos más importantes del cine independiente. La lista reúne 42 largometrajes y 25 interpretaciones repartidos en 11 categorías, y fue revelada primero a través de redes sociales.

Cinco títulos comparten el primer lugar con cuatro nominaciones cada uno: All of a Sudden de Ryusuke Hamaguchi, Clarissa de Arie y Chuko Esiri, La Gradiva de Marine Atlan, The Invite de Olivia Wilde y Tender Loving Care de Mike Leigh.

Jeffrey Sharp, director ejecutivo del instituto, celebró el anuncio y describió 2026 como un año excepcional para el cine. Destacó que el público volvió con fuerza a las salas para ver propuestas arriesgadas y personales, firmadas tanto por debutantes como por autores con larga trayectoria. Según Sharp, las nominaciones, los homenajes y el retorno del Premio del Público reflejan esa riqueza y rinden tributo a la comunidad creativa que ha sostenido a los Gotham por más de 30 años.
